Wellspring Community is seeking a high-energy, creative, and passionate Integrated Program Teacher & Support to join our in-person day program serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). This role plays a key part in furthering Wellspring’s mission to empower adults with I/DD to live full, productive, and satisfying lives in a God-centered environment.
This hybrid role involves teaching 2–4 engaging, inclusive classes per trimester that promote life skills, enrichment, creativity, and community involvement, as well as supporting seven additional classes led by other Program Teachers. Candidates must be flexible, collaborative, and committed to fostering an environment of safety, dignity, and inclusion.
Key Responsibilities
Instructional Duties:
- Plan and teach 2–4 weekly classes tailored to participant interests and strengths
- Create inclusive lesson plans that encourage creativity and connection
- Adapt instruction for varying needs using best practices
- Complete daily documentation and participant tracking
- Provide direction to volunteers and Program Supports in your classes
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with staff, volunteers, and participants
- Attend all relevant staff meetings, trainings, and program planning sessions as needed
- Model Wellspring values and positive behavior supports
- Maintain a positive, fun, and safe learning environment
- Adapt to a dynamic, fast-paced setting and take initiative in solving challenges
Program Support Duties:
- Assist in 7 additional classes, offering individualized support to participants
- Help with preparation, setup, and cleanup of classroom activities
- Occasionally substitute teach
Morning Huddle:
- 3 days/week: Planning and prep
- 2 days/week: Participant support during activities
Qualifications & Skills:
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum 1 year of experience working with individuals with I/DD
- Background in education, human services, or recreational programming preferred
- Valid Colorado driver’s license with a clean driving record; able to drive 15-passenger vehicles
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office 365 and open to learning documentation systems
- Experience supporting individuals with cognitive, emotional, physical, or behavioral challenges
- Current First Aid/CPR certification
- Must pass background check, drug screen, Must obtain DOT and QMAP certifications
Position Status
Full-time, based in Castle Rock. Schedule is: 8:30 AM–4:30 PM/Monday – Friday.

Job Summary
The Development Officer builds and sustains donor relationships to generate funding for Wellspring’s mission. As a key member of the Development Team, this person leads and supports fundraising plans, donor stewardship, communications, and event coordination. Responsibilities include donor outreach and acknowledgment, accurate record-keeping, and gift processing.
Key Responsibilities
Capital Campaign
- Collaborate with leadership to support Wellspring’s current space acquisition campaign.
- Manage campaign materials, donor tracking, acknowledgments, and communications.
- Coordinate donor meetings, tours, and events, and ensure timely follow-up.
- Research and prepare briefing materials on campaign prospects.
Donor Relations
- Help develop and implement strategies to meet or exceed annual revenue goals.
- Manage a portfolio of mid-level individual donors and prospects.
- Analyze donor data to support acquisition, retention, upgrades, and re-engagement.
- Collaborate closely with the development team on all donor communications (e.g., monthly e-news, newsletters, annual appeals, reports, social media, etc.).
- Work with the Communications Coordinator to develop donor-targeted materials.
- Provide post-campaign summaries and insights to leadership and board.
- Support the Executive Director with emerging fundraising priorities.
Events
- Assist with special events that increase visibility and support for Wellspring.
- Partner with the team to execute logistics for fundraising and stewardship events.
Administrative Support
- Attend team meetings and trainings.
- Provide program support as needed (e.g., lunchroom coverage, offsite classes).
- Track board member donations and engagement.
- Help with donor and partner invoicing.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- 3–5 years of nonprofit development experience, especially with individual donors.
- Strong alignment with Wellspring’s mission and a heart for adults with I/DD.
- Cultural competence and sensitivity toward diverse backgrounds and experiences.
- Ability to create and execute donor engagement strategies.
- Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Highly motivated, strategic, and creative, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and donor CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
- Familiarity with digital platforms (e.g., Constant Contact, social media).
- Employment is contingent upon successful completion of a background check and drug screening.

Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Nonprofit Management, Business, or a related field.
3–5 years of nonprofit development experience with a strong track record of donor engagement and fundraising results preferred.
We also welcome candidates with 1–2 years in related fields who have demonstrated fundraising success to apply.
Position Status
Full-time, based in Castle Rock. Core hours are 9:00 AM–5:00 PM with some evenings and weekends. Reports to the Director of Development.

Being a Substitute Direct Support Professional is more than just helping someone with their daily activities; it is assisting someone to live a meaningful life. Direct care support is a valuable career that changes the lives of the individuals you support and your life, too! In this role, you will be a mentor, friend, and advocate for the individuals you support.
Essential Responsibilities and Job Duties:
- Provide direct care and supervision for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities in the community and in their personal home.
- Assist individuals in completing living skills, money management, cooking, and community participation, hygiene routine, household cleaning, and grocery shopping
- Provide transportation to individuals as needed.
- Assist with medical care (medication administration, and transportation to medical appointments).
- Implement and document individual goals and medical tracking electronically.
- Coordinate other resources as needed including support in arranging and/or directly providing transportation for participants.
- Facilitate and monitor activities consistent with Individual Service Plan goals and objectives for assigned caseload.
- Responsible for supporting and maintaining a physically and psychologically safe environment.
- Must keep track of their own sub shift schedule.
- Eligible to sub with the day program, if cross-trained with day program team, but must not abandon a previously registered shift for a more desirable one.
- Provide overnight on-call support for emergency response.
Expectations of Position:
- Able to work well with team members in all departments within Wellspring Community and the public at large.
- Well-developed communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrates ability to manage challenging behaviors through the execution of positive behavior supports for each individual/unique situation or seeks help from senior positions when necessary.

Job Title: Transportation Support (Part-Time)
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 10–24 hours per week between 7:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

We are seeking a dependable and compassionate Transportation Support team member to assist with daily transportation needs. This position includes driving responsibilities as a substitute driver when regular drivers are absent, helping maintain the safety and cleanliness of the vehicle fleet, and assisting the Transportation Manager with other duties as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as a substitute driver using a 15-passenger van to transport participants to and from the program safely.
- Greet participants with kindness and professionalism.
- Assist participants in and out of vehicles and secure seatbelts as needed.
- Drive responsibly, following all local and state traffic laws.
- Perform basic vehicle maintenance, including fueling, cleaning, and safety checks.
- Maintain daily transportation logs and complete required documentation accurately.
- Report vehicle malfunctions or incidents to the Transportation Manager.
- Support the Transportation Manager with administrative or logistical tasks related to fleet operations.
Requirements:
- Must be 25 years or older.
- Valid Colorado Driver’s License.
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record.
- Employment is contingent upon passing a background check, drug screen, and obtaining DOT certification.

Schedule:

We are seeking a high energy, creative and passionate Floating Program Assistant to join us for in-person services to meet the amazing mission of empowering the lives of adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Qualified candidates will have a passion for working with adults that have intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The Floating Program Assistant embraces the mission statement of Wellspring Community: To create a community where adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities are empowered to live full, productive, and satisfying lives in a God-centered environment. The Floating Program Assistant is a dynamic and flexible role within our day program for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD). This individual will provide support where needed, stepping in for both teacher and support staff roles to ensure continuity of services. The ideal candidate is adaptable, quick to learn, and comfortable working in various capacities to foster a positive and engaging environment for participants.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities (including but not limited to):
· Step into teacher and support roles as needed due to staff absences, last-minute changes, or program needs.
· Complete necessary daily charting and program notes when substituting for a teacher.
· Implement lesson plans and activities when filling in for a teacher, ensuring engaging and educational experiences for participants.
· Assist with toileting, medication administration and other ADLs (Activities of Daily Living)
· Assist with program setup, transitions, and clean up as needed.
· Communicate effectively with staff, participants, and families to maintain consistency and quality of care.
· Encourage and empower participants by treating clients in accordance with Wellspring’s Core Values.
· Creatively utilize volunteer support and provide direction to volunteers during a class you are substituting for.
· Perform other special projects as requested by Program Director, Program Manager, Development Team, or administrative staff.
· Transport clients to local activities or community outings as necessary when substituting for a class.
· Take initiative to jump into program and find ways to support the program’s success.
· Flexible and dynamic to enthusiastically teach and support in a variety of classes.
· Performs physical demands of job where requested and needed.
Qualifications:
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Services or Special Education preferred but not required.
· Minimum one year experience working with adults with IDD in an educational, recreational, or support capacity preferred.
· Ability to quickly adapt to different roles and responsibilities within the program.
· Strong communication and teamwork skills.
· Valid Colorado Driver’s license and clean motor vehicle report and possess the willingness and skills necessary to drive 15 passenger vehicles to transport participants to various outings and activities.
· Excellent organizational skills with ability to manage multiple priorities.
· Ability to multi-task, problem-solve effectively and manage the demands of a fast-paced, constantly changing environment.
· Current First Aid/CPR certification to ensure health and safety of clients.
· Must be able to pass drug screen, background check and obtain DOT Certification.
· Qualified Medication Administration Personnel through CDPHE required, if not currently QMAP certified, we will pay for the costs of obtaining certification.
